Hints:
Guard Distraction
Need to get into a room? Don't want to fight some guards? NO NEED! Just find a guard above the room or close to it. Go assassinate him and carry him to the edge of the building that is closest to the guards and throw him off!. Make sure it is not too close to the entrance. Once the guards walk over to the body of their fallen comrade just sneak around to the door and voila! You're in.
(Da Vinci Dissapearance) Memory 4: Bon Voyage Hint
This (downloadable add-on) sequence requires you to retrieve the Da Vinci Painting without being spotted by the Robed Disciples. The first part is simple. You merely need to climb on the rooftops and head in the general direction of the green point on the map. If you see any guards, you're welcome to dispatch them, but ignoring them works just as well. You can be detected by guards and still get %100 Synchronization. After making it to the area where the minimap becomes green, perform a Leap of Faith off the rooftops (assuming your still on it) and run towards the river. If you can't find your target, activate eagle vision. He will appear in yellow. After beating up the merchant and his minions, head over to the ship with the robed disciples. Get just close enough to the ship to highlight one of the disciples, then, assuming you have the arrow storm available to you, press and hold left bumper to activate it. This will eliminate all of them, paving an unimpeded path to collect the painting.
Get All Codex Inventions from Leonardo
When you meet Leonardo for the first time he offers up one of your codex inventions (double blade, jump higher, poison dart) for purchase. If you have enough florins to buy all of them or even two of them, just choose one. When the sequence is over access the DNA and replay Sequence 4 Memory 8 (An Unexpected Visitor) again. Once the sequence begins you can hit start and skip the sequence and you will jump back to when you are offered the inventions. The first one you chose is grayed out and you are left with two options. When sequence is over do it again to get the last item.
Easter Eggs:
Space Invaders Easter Egg
Once you've unlocked the Desmond outfit, if you look at the back of Desmond's hair you will see a picture of the alien from Space Invaders. Also, you can only see it good in the right light.
Lucy's Facebook Break
In the Sanctuary in 2012, if you look at the right hand monitor of Lucy's computer you can see she is playing the Facebook game Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy.
Metal Gear Solid Box
During the Sequence 4, "An Unexpected Visitor," before you re-unite with Leonardo De Vinci, you will hear a voice calling to Ezio. Follow it and you will find a cardboard box right before Leonardo appears behind you. The box is the same used in the Metal Gear Solid Series!
